Ecebs was established in 2000 as an advanced secure smartcard software company based in East Kilbride, Scotland, where we remain to this day.
Our products have been deployed in most smartcard arenas but particularly in Payment, Transport and Identity related markets. Ecebs specialise in harnessing these products with flexible and secure multi application capability even after the cards have been issued for their initial purpose. If you need to correct or enhance your original smartcard product, or add new functionality - from a loyalty programme to a finger print - or both - Ecebs products are capable of doing this. Our core technology in this arena is called Multefile™.
We don't just provide software for the smartcards themselves, we also provide the required solutions for terminals and back office systems. We strongly support the development of standards in all aspects of our solutions and see this as of key importance in making our products easy to integrate with legacy systems.
The company has achieved international recognition for the security of its software developments making them more trustworthy in the field but recognises the need for and continues to invest in continued security enhancement.
