Acronym Definition
ISAM Of primary importance is the ITSO Security Application Module (ISAM), which is now available in 3 and 5 volt versions. The ISAM is located in the ticket issuing and checking devices and provides the means by which contactless smartcards issued by a variety of transport operators are read and verified.
ISMS The ITSO Security Management System (ISMS) was designed and built by Ecebs. The Royal Bank of Scotland, on behalf of ITSO Limited, operates the ISMS in a highly secure and resilient environment. The purpose of the ISMS is to provide the necessary cryptographic keys and security covering all elements of an ITSO environment. This enables licensed ITSO Members to be confident in the overall integrity of their ITSO compliant schemes.
AMS/HOPS The Asset Management System / Host Operator Processing System (AMS/HOPS) is required to manage the ISAMs installed in the point of service terminal (POST) equipment as well as providing the necessary data flows to integrate your ITSO scheme.
