Ecebs offer ISAM Commissioning and Profiling products and services
One of the biggest challenges facing the rollout of ITSO schemes today is the ITSO Secure Authentication Module (ISAM) commissioning and profiling process.
The ISAM is a critical component within any ITSO scheme as it supports the end to end security and business rules for ITSO transactions. The ISAM is present within various components throughout an ITSO scheme including the Point Of Service Terminals (POSTs) and the HOPS system.

Put in simple terms, for an ISAM to be used in an ITSO scheme it must first be:
- Commissioned: connected to the ITSO Security Management System (ISMS)
- Profiled: products and business rules loaded (for example English National Concessionary Transport Scheme [ENCTS] products and rules loaded)
These services range from the rich toolbox of ISAM commissioning and profiling capabilities which are included as standard within our Paragon HOPS product, through to dedicated ISAM commissioning and profiling systems.
The dedicated commissioning and profiling systems are an ideal solution for rollout and management of ITSO schemes with large estates of ISAMs. These systems comprise PC based applications with an easy to use Web based Graphical User Interface, operated with parallel arrays of smartcard readers. This facilitates commissioning and profiling of multiples of ISAMs in one operation delivering greatly increased throughput and production of commissioned and profiled ISAMs allowing Ecebs systems to provide unparalleled ISAM commissioning and profiling rates.
These increased throughput rates dramatically reduce the time taken to roll out a large ISAM estate and as this can often be the critical path in bringing a full ITSO scheme into operation, Ecebs Commissioning and Profiling systems significantly reduce the risk and cost in the ISAM rollout process and ultimately the operation of any ITSO scheme.
Ecebs offer additional services within the commissioning process including the management of the ISAM inventory before and after commissioning, removing the need for a scheme operator to manage what are often complex logistics, again reducing risk and cost for the scheme operator.
