Ecebs technology is employed in all stages of the transport smartcard
application. In addition to devices that will be placed in buses and
ticket machines, Transport ticketing/ITSO,
we also provide back office systems. Barry Hochfield, Ecebs Technical
Director said “ This deployment is going to be the largest of
its kind in the UK this year by a long way. It is especially gratifying
that Scotland will be offering a comprehensive smartcard based service
to its citizens and that the essential parts of the security technology
have been developed here in East Kilbride.”
