Open Day Success for Ecebs
Ecebs Limited, would like to thank everyone who attended our office
open day. Our relocation to the newly built and eco-friendly Torus
Building, located within the Scottish Enterprise Technology Park
in East Kilbride, provided us with the perfect opportunity to showcase
our technologies. Our continued growth and success has led to the
outgrowth of our original location within the technology park.
The Rt. Hon. Adam Ingram, MP for East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow
carried out the official opening of the premises. He commented, “7
years ago, I visited Ecebs as they moved into their first office
on the Scottish Enterprise Technology Park. Since then, it has been
very pleasing to see them develop their leading-edge technology that
has enabled them to forge relationships with leading clients such
as the Royal Bank of Scotland and iTi Techmedia.
That success has
led them to a successful flotation on the AIM stock market as Advanced
Smartcard Technologies plc and to the growth that has necessitated
the move to larger premises. That they have chosen to remain on the
Scottish Technology Park and move into an advanced eco-friendly building
is further evidence that East Kilbride is an excellent place to nurture
innovative technology-based companies like Ecebs. “
David Braddock, Managing Director, Ecebs, said: “We are pleased
to relocate our principal office and operations to the Torus Building.
Its innovative design provides an environment that matches our innovation
driven culture and we expect to achieve great things here.”
“We are grateful for the support we have received from the
local community and organisations such as Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire
and look forward to an exciting future based in East Kilbride.”
In conjunction with Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire, Ecebs Ltd has
made a commitment to ongoing training for the largely local workforce,
which has played an important role in Ecebs’ success. The company
is involved in a full programme of workforce development activity
to support its long-term growth, and is currently working with the
local enterprise company regarding ambitious expansion plans.
