Ecebs Announces Integration with SmartConnect

Ecebs, the independent smartcard specialist company based in East Kilbride, Scotland is happy to announce Multefile-SmartConnect for the Public Sector citizen card market. SmartConnect is the software that enables citizen information to be acquired and processed so that smartcards, such as for the proposed English National Concessionary Travel Scheme, can be delivered into the hands of citizens.

It was developed under the National Smart Card Project that was sponsored by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. “Now the SmartConnect card management system works with Multefile to bring extra features and benefits” says Mel Pashley, Ecebs Sales Director. “By integrating Multefile with SmartConnect, Local Authorities smartcard schemes can be more flexible, robust and cost effective than ever before”.
